I was literally born into real estate — my mother closed a sale from her hospital bed the day I was born. I am a 3rd generation realtor, following in the footsteps of my late grandmother, Marilyn Farmer, and my mother, Suzanne Roell-Carlson. My first job was as a receptionist/builder rep at a prominent Indianapolis builder when I was 14 years old. I worked as a receptionist at an independent real estate firm throughout high school and as my mother’s assistant for many years before earning my real estate license in 2001. I was a million-dollar producer my first year in the business. In 2014, I earned my Broker’s License and played an integral part in the opening and launch of Smart Choice Realtors.

Having grown up on the Southside of Indianapolis, I am extremely knowledgeable about the Indianapolis and Greenwood real estate markets. I graduated from Roncalli High School in 1997 and attended the University of Indianapolis. I am also very active in the community as a volunteer for Saints Francis and Clare (SSFC) Church and School, a member of the SSFC Ministry of Mothers Sharing group, and even collected 28 pairs of shoes and 4 winter hats for Hornet Park Elementary in Beech Grove, after hearing that their students were in desperately need of shoes.
I currently reside in the rolling hills of northern Brown County with my husband, John, and our 3 beautiful children, Allison, Michael and Joseph.
